Publishing on ViewFT

Any registered user can publish content on ViewFT. Your reach and rewards depend on your ViewCred Score, content quality, and optional staking.

Content Types

  • Articles — Original long-form journalism, analysis, and opinion
  • Curations — Summaries and commentary on news from other sources (with proper attribution)
  • Quick Takes — Short-form reactions to breaking news

Publishing Flow

  1. Write your content in the ViewFT editor
  2. Add relevant tags and category
  3. Choose whether to stake $VIEW tokens (optional — see Staked Publishing)
  4. Submit for publication
Content is immediately published and begins receiving algorithmic distribution based on your ViewCred Score and stake amount.

Content Guidelines

  • Original work — Plagiarism results in immediate ViewCred slashing
  • Proper attribution — Curations must link to and credit original sources
  • Factual claims — Verifiable claims should include sources where possible
  • No manipulation — Coordinated engagement schemes are detected and penalized

Content Quality Signals

ViewFT’s algorithm evaluates content quality using several signals: Strong quality signals (increase distribution):
  • Original reporting with named sources
  • Data-backed claims with linked references
  • Balanced coverage presenting multiple perspectives
  • Clear distinction between fact and opinion
  • Timely coverage of emerging stories
Weak quality signals (reduce distribution):
  • Aggregation without original commentary or analysis
  • Clickbait headlines that don’t match content
  • Unattributed claims or anonymous sourcing without justification
  • Duplicating content already well-covered without adding new insight

Content Formatting Tips

  • Lead with the news — put the most important information in the first paragraph
  • Use subheadings — break long articles into scannable sections
  • Link your sources — external links to primary sources increase trust signals
  • Tag accurately — miscategorized content gets less distribution, not more
  • Disclose conflicts — if you hold tokens or have relationships relevant to your coverage, disclose them. Transparency builds ViewCred faster than anything.

Content Ownership

All content published on ViewFT remains the intellectual property of the creator. ViewFT is granted a non-exclusive license to display and distribute the content within the platform. Creators can republish their content elsewhere at any time.
